斯10:1 亞哈隨魯王使旱地和海島的人民都進貢。
  And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.
 斯10:2 他以權柄能力所行的、並他抬舉末底改使他高升的事、豈不都寫在瑪代和波斯王的歷史上麼。
  And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
 斯10:3 猶大人末底改作亞哈隨魯王的宰相、在猶大人中為大、得他眾弟兄的喜悅、為本族的人求好處、向他們說和平的話。
  For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
