詩59:1 〔掃羅打發人窺探大衛的房屋、要殺他．那時大衛用這金詩、交與伶長、調用休要毀壞。〕我的 神阿、求你救我脫離仇敵、把我安置在高處、得脫那些起來攻擊我的人。
Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
詩59:2 求你救我脫離作孽的人、和喜愛流人血的人。
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
詩59:3 因為他們埋伏、要害我的命、有能力的人聚集來攻擊我．耶和華阿、這不是為我的過犯、也不是為我的罪愆。
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.
詩59:4 我雖然無過、他們豫備整齊、跑來攻擊我．求你興起鑒察、幫助我。
They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
詩59:5 萬軍之 神耶和華以色列的 神阿。求你興起、懲治萬邦．不要憐憫行詭詐的惡人。〔細拉〕
Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
詩59:6 他們晚上轉回、叫號如狗、圍城遶行。
They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
詩59:7 他們口中噴吐惡言、嘴裡有刀、他們說、有誰聽見。
Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
詩59:8 但你耶和華必笑話他們．你要嗤笑萬邦。
But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
詩59:9 我的力量阿、我必仰望你．因為 神是我的高臺。
Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
詩59:10 我的 神要以慈愛迎接我． 神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。
The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
詩59:11 不要殺他們、恐怕我的民忘記．主阿、你是我們的盾牌．求你用你的能力使他們四散、且降為卑。
Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
詩59:12 因他們口中的罪、和嘴裡的言語、並咒罵虛謊的話、願他們在驕傲之中被纏住了。
For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
詩59:13 求你發怒、使他們消滅、以至歸於無有、叫他們知道 神在雅各中間掌權、直到地極。〔細拉〕
Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
詩59:14 到了晚上、任憑他們轉回．任憑他們叫號如狗、圍城繞行。
And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
詩59:15 他們必走來走去、尋找食物．若不得飽、就終夜在外。
Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
詩59:16 但我要歌頌你的力量、早晨要高唱你的慈愛．因為你作過我的高臺．在我急難的日子、作過我的避難所。
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
詩59:17 我的力量阿、我要歌頌你．因為 神是我的高臺、是賜恩與我的 神。
Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
