箴10:1 所羅門的箴言。智慧之子、使父親歡樂．愚昧之子、叫母親擔憂。
The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
箴10:2 不義之財、毫無益處．惟有公義、能救人脫離死亡。
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
箴10:3 耶和華不使義人受飢餓．惡人所欲的他必推開。
The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
箴10:4 手懶的、要受貧窮．手勤的、卻要富足。
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
箴10:5 夏天聚斂的、是智慧之子．收割時沉睡的、是貽羞之子。
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
箴10:6 福祉臨到義人的頭．強暴蒙蔽惡人的口。
Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
箴10:7 義人的記念被稱讚．惡人的名字必朽爛。
The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
箴10:8 心中智慧的、必受命令．口裡愚妄的、必致傾倒。
The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
箴10:9 行正直路的、步步安穩．走彎曲道的、必致敗露。
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
箴10:10 以眼傳神的、使人憂患．口裡愚妄的、必致傾倒。
He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
箴10:11 義人的口是生命的泉源．強暴蒙蔽惡人的口。
The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
箴10:12 恨、能挑啟爭端．愛、能遮掩一切過錯。
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
箴10:13 明哲人嘴裡有智慧．無知人背上受刑杖。
In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.
箴10:14 智慧人積存知識．愚妄人的口速致敗壞。
Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.
箴10:15 富戶的財物、是他的堅城．窮人的貧乏、是他的敗壞。
The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
箴10:16 義人的勤勞致生．惡人的進項致死。〔死原文作罪〕
The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
箴10:17 謹守訓誨的、乃在生命的道上．違棄責備的、便失迷了路。
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
箴10:18 隱藏怨恨的、有說謊的嘴．口出讒謗的、是愚妄的人。
He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
箴10:19 多言多語難免有過．禁止嘴唇是有智慧。
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
箴10:20 義人的舌、乃似高銀．惡人的心所值無幾。
The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
箴10:21 義人的口教養多人．愚昧人因無知而死亡。
The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
箴10:22 耶和華所賜的福、使人富足、並不加上憂慮。
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
箴10:23 愚妄人以行惡為戲耍．明哲人卻以智慧為樂。
It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
箴10:24 惡人所怕的必臨到他．義人所願的必蒙應允。
The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
箴10:25 暴風一過、惡人歸於無有．義人的根基卻是永久。
As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
箴10:26 懶惰人叫差他的人、如醋倒牙、如煙薰目。
As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
箴10:27 敬畏耶和華、使人日子加多．但惡人的年歲必被減少。
The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
箴10:28 義人的盼望、必得喜樂．惡人的指望、必至滅沒。
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
箴10:29 耶和華的道、是正直人的保障．卻成了作孽人的敗壞。
The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
箴10:30 義人永不挪移．惡人不得住在地上。
The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
箴10:31 義人的口、滋生智慧．乖謬的舌、必被割斷。
The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
箴10:32 義人的嘴、能令人喜悅．惡人的口、說乖謬的話。
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
