箴3:1 我兒、不要忘記我的法則．〔或作指教〕你心要謹守我的誡命．
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
箴3:2 因為他必將長久的日子、生命的年數、與平安、加給你。
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
箴3:3 不可使慈愛誠實離開你．要繫在你頸項上、刻在你心版上．
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
箴3:4 這樣、你必在 神和世人眼前蒙恩寵、有聰明。
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
箴3:5 你要專心仰賴耶和華、不可倚靠自己的聰明．
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
箴3:6 在你一切所行的事上、都要認定他、他必指引你的路。
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
箴3:7 不要自以為有智慧．要敬畏耶和華、遠離惡事．
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
箴3:8 這便醫治你的肚臍、滋潤你的百骨。
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
箴3:9 你要以財物和一切初熟的土產、尊榮耶和華．
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
箴3:10 這樣、你的倉房、必充滿有餘、你的酒醡、有新酒盈溢。
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
箴3:11 我兒、你不可輕看耶和華的管教〔或作懲治〕、也不可厭煩他的責備．
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:
箴3:12 因為耶和華所愛的、他必責備．正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
箴3:13 得智慧、得聰明的、這人便為有福。
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
箴3:14 因為得智慧勝過得銀子、其利益強如精金．
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
箴3:15 比珍珠〔或作紅寶石〕寶貴．你一切所喜愛的、都不足與比較。
She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
箴3:16 他右手有長壽．左手有富貴。
Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
箴3:17 他的道是安樂、他的路全是平安。
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
箴3:18 他與持守他的作生命樹．持定他的俱各有福。
She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
箴3:19 耶和華以智慧立地．以聰明定天．
The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
箴3:20 以知識使深淵裂開、使天空滴下甘露。
By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
箴3:21 我兒、要謹守真智慧和謀略．不可使他離開你的眼目．
My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
箴3:22 這樣、他必作你的生命、頸項的美飾。
So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
箴3:23 你就坦然行路、不至碰腳。
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
箴3:24 你躺下、必不懼怕．你躺臥、睡得香甜。
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
箴3:25 忽然來的驚恐、不要害怕．惡人遭毀滅、也不要恐懼．
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
箴3:26 因為耶和華是你所倚靠的．他必保守你的腳不陷入網羅。
For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
箴3:27 你手若有行善的力量、不可推辭、就當向那應得的人施行。
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
箴3:28 你那裡若有現成的、不可對鄰舍說、去罷、明天再來、我必給你。
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
箴3:29 你的鄰舍、既在你附近安居、你不可設計害他。
Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
箴3:30 人未曾加害與你、不可無故與他相爭。
Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
箴3:31 不可嫉妒強暴的人、也不可選擇他所行的路。
Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
箴3:32 因為乖僻人為耶和華所憎惡．正直人為他所親密。
For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
箴3:33 耶和華咒詛惡人的家庭、賜福與義人的居所。
The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
箴3:34 他譏誚那好譏誚的人、賜恩給謙卑的人。
Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
箴3:35 智慧人必承受尊榮．愚昧人高升也成為羞辱。
The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
