 賽21:1 論海旁曠野的默示。有仇敵從曠野、從可怕之地而來、好像南方的旋風、猛然掃過。
  The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
 賽21:2 令人悽慘的異象已、默示於我．詭詐的行詭詐、毀滅的行毀滅。以攔哪、你要上去．瑪代阿、你要圍困．主說、我使一切歎息止住。
  A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
 賽21:3 所以我滿腰疼痛．痛苦將我抓住、好像產難的婦人一樣．我疼痛甚至不能聽．我驚惶甚至不能看。
  Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it
 賽21:4 我心慌張、驚恐威嚇我、我所羨慕的黃昏、變為我的戰兢。
  My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
 賽21:5 他們擺設筵席、派人守望、又喫又喝．首領阿、你們起來、用油抹盾牌。
  Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield.
 賽21:6 主對我如此說、你去設立守望的、使他將所看見的述說。
  For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
 賽21:7 他看見軍隊、就是騎馬的一對一對地來、又看見驢隊、駱駝隊、就要側耳細聽。
  And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:
 賽21:8 他像獅子吼叫、說、主阿、我白日常站在望樓上、整夜立在我守望所．
  And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:
 賽21:9 看哪、有一隊軍兵騎著馬、一對一對地來。他就說、巴比倫傾倒了．傾倒了、他一切雕刻的神像、都打碎於地。
  And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
 賽21:10 我被打的禾稼、我場上的穀阿、我從萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神那裡所聽見的、都告訴你們了。
  O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
 賽21:11 論度瑪的默示。有人聲從西珥呼問我、說、守望的阿、夜裡如何．守望的阿、夜裡如何。
  The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
 賽21:12 守望的說、早晨將到、黑夜也來．你們若要問、就可以問、可以回頭再來。
  The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire ye: return, come.
 賽21:13 論亞拉伯的默示。底但結伴的客旅阿、你們必在亞拉伯的樹林中住宿。
  The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
 賽21:14 提瑪地的居民拿水來、送給口渴的、拿餅來迎接逃避的。
  The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.
 賽21:15 因為他們逃避刀劍、和出了鞘的刀、並上了弦的弓、與刀兵的重災。
  For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
 賽21:16 主對我這樣說、一年之內、照雇工的年數、基達的一切榮耀必歸於無有．
  For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
 賽21:17 弓箭手所餘剩的、就是基達人的勇士、必然稀少．因為這是耶和華以色列的　神說的。
  And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the Lord God of Israel hath spoken it.
