 耶10:1 以色列家阿、要聽耶和華對你們所說的話。
  Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
 耶10:2 耶和華如此說、你們不要效法列國的行為、也不要為天象驚惶．因列國為此事驚惶。
  Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
 耶10:3 眾民的風俗是虛空的．他們在樹林中用斧子砍伐一棵樹、匠人用手工造成偶像。
  For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
 耶10:4 他們用金銀妝飾他、用釘子和錘子釘穩、使他不動搖。
  They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
 耶10:5 他好像棕樹、是鏇成的、不能說話、不能行走、必須有人抬著。你們不要怕他．他不能降禍、也無力降福。
  They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
 耶10:6 耶和華阿、沒有能比你的．你本為大、有大能大力的名。
  Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.
 耶10:7 萬國的王阿、誰不敬畏你．敬畏你本是合宜的．因為在列國的智慧人中、雖有政權的尊榮、也不能比你。
  Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
 耶10:8 他們盡都是畜類、是愚昧的．偶像的訓誨算甚麼呢．偶像不過是木頭。
  But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.
 耶10:9 有銀子打成片、是從他施帶來的、並有從烏法來的金子、都是匠人和銀匠的手工．又有藍色紫色料的衣服、都是巧匠的工作。
  Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.
 耶10:10 惟耶和華是真　神、是活　神、是永遠的王．他一發怒大地震動、他一惱恨、列國都擔當不起。
  But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
 耶10:11 你們要對他們如此說、不是那創造天地的神、必從地上從天下被除滅。
  Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
 耶10:12 耶和華用能力創造大地、用智慧建立世界、用聰明鋪張穹蒼。
  He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
 耶10:13 他一發聲、空中便有多水激動．他使雲霧從地極上騰．他造電隨雨而閃、從他府庫中帶出風來。
  When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
 耶10:14 各人都成了畜類、毫無知識．各銀匠都因他雕刻的偶像羞愧．他所鑄的偶像、本是虛假的、其中並無氣息．
  Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
 耶10:15 都是虛無的、是迷惑人的工作．到追討的時候、必被除滅。
  They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
 耶10:16 雅各的分不像這些．因他是造作萬有的主．以色列也是他產業的支派．萬軍之耶和華是他的名。
  The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The Lord of hosts is his name.
 耶10:17 受圍困的人哪、當收拾你的財物、從國中帶出去。
  Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
 耶10:18 因為耶和華如此說、這時候、我必將此地的居民、好像用機弦甩出去、又必加害在他們身上、使他們覺悟。
  For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.
 耶10:19 民說、禍哉、我受損傷．我的傷痕、極其重大．我卻說、這真是我的痛苦、必須忍受。
  Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
 耶10:20 我的帳棚毀壞、我的繩索折斷。我的兒女離我出去、沒有了．無人再支搭我的帳棚、挂起我的幔子。
  My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
 耶10:21 因為牧人都成為畜類、沒有求問耶和華．所以不得順利、他們的羊群也都分散。
  For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
 耶10:22 有風聲、看哪、敵人來了、有大擾亂從北方出來、要使猶大城邑、變為荒涼、成為野狗的住處。
  Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
 耶10:23 耶和華阿、我曉得人的道路不由自己．行路的人、也不能定自己的腳步。
  O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
 耶10:24 耶和華阿、求你從寬懲治我．不要在你的怒中懲治我、恐怕使我歸於無有。
  O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
 耶10:25 願你將忿怒傾在不認識你的列國中、和不求告你名的各族上．因為他們吞了雅各、不但吞了而且滅絕、把他的住處變為荒場。
  Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
