耶45:1 猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬第四年、尼利亞的兒子巴錄將先知耶利米口中所說的話寫在書上、耶利米說、
  The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
 耶45:2 巴錄阿、耶和華以色列的　神說、
  Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch;
 耶45:3 巴錄〔原文作你〕曾說、哀哉、耶和華將憂愁加在我的痛苦上．我因唉哼而困乏、不得安歇。
  Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the Lord hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.
 耶45:4 你要這樣告訴他、耶和華如此說、我所建立的我必拆毀．我所栽植的我必拔出．在全地我都如此行。
  Thus shalt thou say unto him, The Lord saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.
 耶45:5 你為自己圖謀大事麼．不要圖謀．我必使災禍臨到凡有血氣的．但你無論往那裡去、我必使你以自己的命為掠物．這是耶和華說的。
  And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the Lord: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.
