拿2:1 約拿在魚腹中禱告耶和華他的　神、
  Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish's belly,
 拿2:2 說、我遭遇患難求告耶和華、你就應允我．從陰間的深處呼求、你就俯聽我的聲音。
  And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
 拿2:3 你將我投下深淵、就是海的深處．大水環繞我．你的波浪洪濤、都漫過我身。
  For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
 拿2:4 我說、我從你眼前雖被驅逐、我仍要仰望你的聖殿。
  Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
 拿2:5 諸水環繞我、幾乎淹沒我．深淵圍住我、海草纏繞我的頭．
  The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
 拿2:6 我下到山根．地的門將我永遠關住。耶和華我的　神阿、你卻將我的性命從坑中救出來。
  I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.
 拿2:7 我心在我裡面發昏的時候、我就想念耶和華。我的禱告進入你的聖殿、達到你的面前。
  When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
 拿2:8 那信奉虛無之神的人、離棄憐愛他們的主．
  They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
 拿2:9 但我必用感謝的聲音獻祭與你．我所許的願、我必償還。救恩出於耶和華。
  But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.
 拿2:10 耶和華吩咐魚、魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。
  And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
