 路16:1 耶穌又對門徒說、有一個財主的管家．別人向他主人告他浪費主人的財物。
  And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
 路16:2 主人叫他來、對他說、我聽見你這事怎麼樣呢．把你所經管的交代明白。因你不能再作我的管家。
  And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
 路16:3 那管家心裡說、主人辭我、不用我再作管家、我將來作甚麼．鋤地呢、無力．討飯呢、怕羞。
  Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
 路16:4 我知道怎麼行、好叫人在我不作管家之後、接我到他們家裡去。
  I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
 路16:5 於是把欠他主人債的、一個一個的叫了來、問頭一個說、你欠我主人多少．
  So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
 路16:6 他說、一百簍油．〔每簍約五十斤〕管家說、拿你的賬快坐下寫五十。
  And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
 路16:7 又問一個說、你欠多少．他說、一百石麥子．管家說、拿你的賬寫八十。
  Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
 路16:8 主人就誇獎這不義的管家作事聰明．因為今世之子、在世事之上、較比光明之子、更加聰明。
  And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
 路16:9 我又告訴你們、要藉著那不義的錢財、結交朋友．到了錢財無用的時候、他們可以接你們到永存的帳幕裡去。
  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
 路16:10 人在最小的事上忠心、在大事上也忠心．在最小的事上不義、在大事上也不義。
  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
 路16:11 倘若你們在不義的錢財上不忠心、誰還把那真實的錢財託付你們呢。
  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
 路16:12 倘若你們在別人的東西上不忠心、誰還把你們自己的東西給你們呢。
  And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
 路16:13 一個僕人不能事奉兩個主．不是惡這個愛那個、就是重這個輕那個．你們不能又事奉　神、又事奉瑪門。
  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
 路16:14 法利賽人是貪愛錢財的、他們聽見這一切話、就嗤笑耶穌。
  And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
 路16:15 耶穌對他們說、你們是在人面前自稱為義的．你們的心、　神卻知道．因為人所尊貴的是　神看為可憎惡的。
  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
 路16:16 律法和先知、到約翰為止．從此　神國的福音傳開了、人人努力要進去。
  The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
 路16:17 天地廢去、較比律法的一點一畫落空還容易。
  And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
 路16:18 凡休妻另娶的、就是犯姦淫．娶被休之妻的、也是犯姦淫。
  Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
 路16:19 有一個財主、穿著紫色袍和細麻布衣服、天天奢華宴樂。
  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
 路16:20 又有一個討飯的、名叫拉撒路、渾身生瘡、被人放在財主門口、
  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
 路16:21 要得財主桌子上掉下來的零碎充飢．並且狗來餂他的瘡。
  And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
 路16:22 後來那討飯的死了、被天使帶去放亞伯拉罕的懷裡．財主也死了、並且埋葬了。
  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
 路16:23 他在陰間受痛苦、舉目遠遠的望見亞伯拉罕、又望見拉撒路在他懷裡．
  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
 路16:24 就喊著說、我祖亞伯拉罕哪、可憐我罷、打發拉撒路來、用指頭尖蘸點水、涼涼我的舌頭．因為我在這火燄裡、極其痛苦。
  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
 路16:25 亞伯拉罕說、兒阿、你該回想你生前享過福、拉撒路也受過苦．如今他在這裡得安慰、你倒受痛苦。
  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
 路16:26 不但這樣、並且在你我之間、有深淵限定、以致人要從這邊過到你們那邊、是不能的、要從那邊過到我們這邊、也是不能的。
  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
 路16:27 財主說、我祖阿、既是這樣、求你打發拉撒路到我父家去．
  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
 路16:28 因為我還有五個弟兄．他可以對他們作見證、免得他們也來到這痛苦的地方。
  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
 路16:29 亞伯拉罕說、他們有摩西和先知的話、可以聽從。
  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
 路16:30 他說、我祖亞伯拉罕哪、不是的．若有一個從死裡復活的、到他們那裡去的、他們必要悔改。
  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
 路16:31 亞伯拉罕說、若不聽從摩西和先知的話、就是有一個從死裡復活的、他們也是不聽勸。
  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
