林後12:1 我自誇固然無益、但我是不得已的．如今我要說到主的顯現和啟示。
It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
林後12:2 我認得一個在基督裡的人、他前十四年被提到第三層天上去．或在身內、我不知道．或在身外、我也不知道．只有 神知道。
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
林後12:3 我認得這人、或在身內、或在身外、我都不知道．只有 神知道。
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
林後12:4 他被提到樂園裡、聽見隱秘的言語、是人不可說的。
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
林後12:5 為這人、我要誇口．但是為我自己、除了我的軟弱以外、我並不誇口。
Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.
林後12:6 我就是願意誇口、也不算狂．因為我必說實話．只是我禁止不說、恐怕有人把我看高了、過於他在我身上所看見所聽見的。
For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.
林後12:7又恐怕我因所得的啟示甚大、就過於自高、所以有一根刺加在我肉體上、就是撒但的差役、要攻擊我、免得我過於自高。
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
林後12:8為這事、我三次求過主、叫這刺離開我。
For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
林後12:9 他對我說、我的恩典彀你用的．因為我的能力、是在人的軟弱上顯得完全．所以我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱、好叫基督的能力覆庇我．
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
林後12:10我為基督的緣故、就以軟弱、凌辱、急難、逼迫、困苦、為可喜樂的．因我甚麼時候軟弱、甚麼時候就剛強了。
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
林後12:11我成了愚妄人、是被你們強逼的．我本該被你們稱許纔是．我雖算不了甚麼、卻沒有一件事在那些最大的使徒以下。
I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.
林後12:12我在你們中間、用百般的忍耐、藉著神蹟奇事異能、顯出使徒的憑據來。
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
林後12:13除了我不累著你們這一件事、你們還有甚麼事不及別的教會呢．這不公之處、求你們饒恕我罷。
For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.
林後12:14如今我打算第三次到你們那裡去、也必不累著你門．因我所求的是你們、不是你們的財物．兒女不該為父母積財、父母該為兒女積財。
Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
林後12:15我也甘心樂意為你們的靈魂費財費力。難道我越發愛你們、就越發少得你們的愛麼。
And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
林後12:16罷了、我自己並沒有累著你們、你們卻有人說、我是詭詐、用心計牢籠你們。
But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
林後12:17我所差到你們那裡去的人、我藉著他們一個人佔過你們的便宜麼。
Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?
林後12:18我勸了提多到你們那裡去、又差那位兄弟與他同去．提多佔過你們的便宜麼．我們行事、不同是一個心靈麼．不同是一個腳蹤麼。〔心靈或作聖靈〕
I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?
林後12:19你們到如今、還想我們是向你們分訴．我們本是在基督裡當 神面前說話。親愛的弟兄阿、一切的事、都是為造就你們。
Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
林後12:20我怕我再來的時候、見你們不合我所想望的、你們見我也不合你們所想望的．又怕有分爭、嫉妒、惱怒、結黨、毀謗、讒言、狂傲、混亂的事．
For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
林後12:21且怕我來的時候、我的 神叫我在你們面前慚愧．又因許多人從前犯罪、行污穢姦淫邪蕩的事、不肯悔改、我就憂愁。
And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
