10 20
 伯10:1 我厭煩我的性命、必由著自己述說我的哀情．因心裡苦惱．我要說話．
  My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
 伯10:2 對　神說、不要定我有罪、要指示我、你為何與我爭辯。
  I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.
 伯10:3 你手所造的、你又欺壓、又藐視、卻光照惡人的計謀．這事你以為美麼。
  Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
 伯10:4 你的眼豈是肉眼．你查看、豈像人查看麼。
  Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
 伯10:5 你的日子豈像人的日子．你的年歲、豈像人的年歲、
  Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,
 伯10:6 就追問我的罪孽、尋察我的罪過麼。
  That thou inquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?
 伯10:7 其實、你知道我沒有罪惡、並沒有能救我脫離你手的。
  Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
 伯10:8 你的手創造我、造就我的四肢百體．你還要毀滅我。
  Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
 伯10:9 求你記念、製造我如摶泥一般．你還要使我歸於麈土麼。
  Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
 伯10:10 你不是倒出我來好像奶、使我凝結如同奶餅麼。
  Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
 伯10:11 你以皮和肉為衣、給我穿上、用骨與筋、把我全體聯絡。
  Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
 伯10:12 你將生命和慈愛賜給我、你也眷顧保全我的心靈。
  Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
 伯10:13 然而你待我的這些事、早已藏在你心裡．我知道你久有此意。
  And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
 伯10:14 我若犯罪、你就察看我、並不赦免我的罪孽。
  If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.
 伯10:15 我若行惡、便有了禍．我若為義、也不敢抬頭、正是滿心羞愧、眼見我的苦情。
  If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
 伯10:16 我若昂首自得、你就追捕我如獅子．又在我身上顯出奇能。
  For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.
 伯10:17 你重立見證攻擊我、向我加增惱怒．如軍兵更換著攻擊我。
  Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and war are against me.
 伯10:18 你為何使我出母胎呢．不如我當時氣絕、無人得見我。
  Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
 伯10:19 這樣、就如沒有我一般．一出母胎、就被送入墳墓。
  I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
 伯10:20 我的日子不是甚少麼．求你停手寬容我、叫我在往而不返之先、就是往黑暗和死蔭之地以先、可以稍得暢快。
  Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
 伯10:21 見上節
  Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
 伯10:22 那地甚是幽暗、是死蔭混沌之地．那裡的光好像幽暗。
  A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
