伯37:1 因此我心戰兢、從原處移動。
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
伯37:2 聽阿、 神轟轟的聲音、是他口中所發的響聲。
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
伯37:3 他發響聲震遍天下、發電光閃到地極。
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
伯37:4 隨後人聽見有雷聲轟轟、大發威嚴．雷電接連不斷。
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
伯37:5 神發出奇妙的雷聲．他行大事、我們不能測透。
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
伯37:6 他對雪說、要降在地上．對大雨和暴雨、也是這樣說。
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
伯37:7 他封住各人的手、叫所造的萬人、都曉得他的作為。
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
伯37:8 百獸進入穴中、臥在洞內。
Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
伯37:9 暴風出於南宮、寒冷出於北方。
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
伯37:10 神噓氣成冰、寬闊之水也都凝結。
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
伯37:11 他使密雲盛滿水氣．布散電光之雲．
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
伯37:12 這雲、是藉他的指引、游行旋轉、得以在全地面上行他一切所吩咐的。
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
伯37:13 或為責罰、或為潤地、或為施行慈愛。
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
伯37:14 約伯阿、你要留心聽．要站立思想 神奇妙的作為。
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
伯37:15 神如何吩咐這些、如何使雲中的電光照耀、你知道麼。
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
伯37:16 雲彩如何浮於空中、那知識全備者奇妙的作為、你知道麼。
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
伯37:17 南風使地寂靜、你的衣服就如火熱、你知道麼。
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
伯37:18 你豈能與 神同鋪穹蒼麼．這穹蒼堅硬、如同鑄成的鏡子。
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
伯37:19 我們愚昧不能陳說、請你指教我們該對他說甚麼話。
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
伯37:20 人豈可說、我願與他說話、豈有人自願滅亡麼。
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
伯37:21 現在有雲遮蔽、人不得見穹蒼的光亮．但風吹過、天又發晴。
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
伯37:22 金光出於北方．在 神那裡有可怕的威嚴。
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
伯37:23 論到全能者、我們不能測度．他大有能力、有公平和大義、必不苦待人。
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
伯37:24 所以人敬畏他．凡自以為心中有智慧的人、他都不顧念。
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
