詩123:1 〔上行之詩。〕坐在天上的主阿、我向你舉目。
  Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
 詩123:2 看哪、僕人的眼睛怎樣望主人的手、使女的眼睛怎樣望主母的手、我們的眼睛也照樣望耶和華我們的　神、直到他憐憫我們。
  Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
 詩123:3 耶和華阿、求你憐憫我們、憐憫我們．因為我們被藐視、已到極處。
  Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
 詩123:4 我們被那些安逸人的譏誚、和驕傲人的藐視、已到極處。
  Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
