 詩17:1 〔大衛的祈禱。〕耶和華阿、求你聽聞公義、側耳聽我的呼籲．求你留心聽我這不出於詭詐嘴唇的祈禱。
  Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
 詩17:2 願我的判語從你面前發出．願你的眼睛觀看公正。
  Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
 詩17:3 你已經試驗我的心．你在夜間鑒察我．你熬煉我、卻找不著甚麼．我立志叫我口中沒有過失。
  Thou has proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou has tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
 詩17:4 論到人的行為、我藉著你嘴唇的言語、自己謹守、不行強暴人的道路。
  Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
 詩17:5 我的腳踏定了你的路徑、我的兩腳未曾滑跌。
  Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
 詩17:6 　神阿、我曾求告你、因為你必應允我．求你向我側耳、聽我的言語。
  I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
 詩17:7 求你顯出你奇妙的慈愛來．你是那用右手拯救投靠你的、脫離起來攻擊他們的人。
  Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
 詩17:8 求你保護我、如同保護眼中的瞳人．將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下、
  Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
 詩17:9 使我脫離那欺壓我的惡人、就是圍困我、要害我命的仇敵。
  From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
 詩17:10 他們的心被脂油包裹．他們用口說驕傲的話。
  They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
 詩17:11 他們圍困了我們的腳步．他們瞪著眼、要把我們推倒在地。
  They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
 詩17:12 他像獅子急要抓食、又像少壯獅子蹲伏在暗處。
  Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
 詩17:13 耶和華阿、求你起來、前去迎敵、將他打倒．用你的刀救護我命脫離惡人。
  Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
 詩17:14 耶和華阿、求你用手救我脫離世人、脫離那只在今生有福分的世人．你把你的財寶充滿他們的肚腹．他們因有兒女就心滿意足、將其餘的財物留給他們的嬰孩。
  From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
 詩17:15 至於我、我必在義中見你的面．我醒了的時候、得見你的形像、〔見或作看〕就心滿意足了。
  As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
