 賽16:1 你們當將羊羔奉給那地掌權的、從西拉往曠野、送到錫安城的山。〔城原文作女子〕
  Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
 賽16:2 摩押的居民、〔居民原文作女子〕在亞嫩渡口、必像遊飛的鳥、如拆窩的雛。
  For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
 賽16:3 求你獻謀略、行公平、使你的影子在午間如黑夜、隱藏被趕散的人．不可顯露逃民。
  Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
 賽16:4 求你容我這被趕散的人和你同居．至於摩押、求你作他的隱密處、脫離滅命者的面。勒索人的歸於無有、毀滅的事止息了、欺壓人的從國中除滅了。
  Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
 賽16:5 必有寶座因慈愛堅立．必有一位誠誠實實坐在其上、在大衛帳幕中施行審判、尋求公平、速行公義。
  And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
 賽16:6 我們聽說摩押人驕傲、是極其驕傲、聽說他狂妄、驕傲、忿怒、他誇大的話、是虛空的。
  We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
 賽16:7 因此、摩押人必為摩押哀號．人人都要哀號．你們摩押人要為吉珥哈列設的葡萄餅哀歎、極其憂傷。
  Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.
 賽16:8 因為希實本的田地、和西比瑪的葡萄樹、都衰殘了．列國的君主折斷其上美好的枝子．這枝子長到雅謝延到曠野．嫩枝向外探出、直探過鹽海。
  For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
 賽16:9 因此、我要為西比瑪的葡萄樹哀哭、與雅謝人哀哭一樣．希實本、以利亞利阿、我要以眼淚澆灌你．因為有交戰吶喊的聲音、臨到你夏天的果子、並你收割的莊稼。
  Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
 賽16:10 從肥美的田中、奪去了歡喜快樂．在葡萄園裡、必無歌唱、也無歡呼的聲音．踹酒的在酒醡中不得踹出酒來．我使他歡呼的聲音止息。
  And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.
 賽16:11 因此、我心腹為摩押哀鳴如琴．我心腸為吉珥哈列設、也是如此。
  Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-haresh.
 賽16:12 摩押人朝見的時候、在高處疲乏、又到他聖所祈禱、也不蒙應允。
  And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
 賽16:13 這是耶和華從前論摩押的話。
  This is the word that the Lord hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
 賽16:14 但現在耶和華說、三年之內、照雇工的年數、摩押的榮耀、與他的群眾、必被藐視、餘剩的人、甚少無幾。
  But now the Lord hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
