詩147:1 你們要讚美耶和華、因歌頌我們的 神為善為美．讚美的話是合宜的。
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
詩147:2 耶和華建造耶路撒冷、聚集以色列中被趕散的人。
The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
詩147:3 他醫好傷心的人、裹好他們的傷處。
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
詩147:4 他數點星宿的數目、一一稱他的名。
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
詩147:5 我們的主為大、最有能力．他的智慧、無法測度。
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
詩147:6 耶和華扶持謙卑人、將惡人傾覆於地。
The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
詩147:7 你們要以感謝向耶和華歌唱、用琴向我們的 神歌頌。
Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
詩147:8 他用雲遮天。為地降雨、使草生長在山上。
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
詩147:9 他賜食給走獸、和啼叫的小烏鴉。
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
詩147:10 他不喜悅馬的力大、不喜愛人的腿快。
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
詩147:11耶和華喜愛敬畏他、和盼望他慈愛的人。
The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
詩147:12 耶路撒冷阿、你要頌讚耶和華．錫安哪、你要讚美你的 神。
Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
詩147:13 因為他堅固了你的門閂、賜福給你中間的兒女。
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
詩147:14 他使你境內平安．用上好的麥子使你滿足。
He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
詩147:15 他發命在地．他的話頒行最快。
He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
詩147:16 他降雪如羊毛、撒霜如爐灰。
He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
詩147:17 他擲下冰雹如碎渣．他發出寒冷、誰能當得起呢。
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
詩147:18 他一出令、這些就都消化．他使風颳起、水便流動。
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
詩147:19 他將他的道指示雅各、將他的律例典章指示以色列。
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
詩147:20 別國他都沒有這樣待過．至於他的典章、他們向來沒有知道。你們要讚美耶和華。
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.
