詩33:1 義人哪、你們應當靠耶和華歡樂．正直人的讚美是合宜的。
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
詩33:2 你們應當彈琴稱謝耶和華、用十絃瑟歌頌他。
Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
詩33:3 應當向他唱新歌、彈得巧妙、聲音洪亮。
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
詩33:4 因為耶和華的言語正直．凡他所作的、盡都誠實。
For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
詩33:5 他喜愛仁義公平．遍地滿了耶和華的慈愛。
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
詩33:6 諸天藉耶和華的命而造、萬象藉他口中的氣而成。
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
詩33:7 他聚集海水如壘、收藏深洋在庫房。
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
詩33:8 願全地都敬畏耶和華．願世上的居民、都懼怕他。
Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
詩33:9 因為他說有、就有．命立、就立。
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
詩33:10 耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有、使眾民的思念無有功效。
The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
詩33:11 耶和華的籌算永遠立定、他心中的思念萬代常存。
The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
詩33:12 以耶和華為　神的、那國是有福的．他所揀選為自己產業的、那民是有福的。
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
詩33:13 耶和華從天上觀看．他看見一切的世人。
The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
詩33:14 從他的居所、往外察看地上一切的居民。
From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
詩33:15 他是那造成他們眾人心的、留意他們一切作為的。
He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
詩33:16 君王不能因兵多得勝．勇士不能因力大得救。
There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
詩33:17 靠馬得救是枉然的．馬也不能因力大救人。
An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
詩33:18 耶和華的眼目、看顧敬畏他的人、和仰望他慈愛的人、
Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
詩33:19 要救他們的命脫離死亡、並使他們在饑荒中存活。
To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
詩33:20 我們的心向來等候耶和華．他是我們的幫助、我們的盾牌。
Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.
詩33:21 我們的心必靠他歡喜、因為我們向來倚靠他的聖名。
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
詩33:22 耶和華阿、求你照著我們所仰望你的、向我們施行慈愛。
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
